There is a lot to think about when purchasing your new home, and I want to help make the inspection aspect as simple and pain-free as possible. As a Certified Professional Inspector and the owner of ProGuide Inspections, I will guide you through this process and make sure there are no questions left unanswered.
After we walk through the home together, I will explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will discuss what was found during the inspection and make sure any major issues are fully understood that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.
There will also be a list of what we call “deferred maintenance” items – items that need to be addressed at some point as part of the maintenance of the home. And remember, all of this will be detailed in my report for easy reference (delivered in both HTML and PDF formats).
If for some reason you are not able to attend the home inspection, please stress over this. I completely understand the busy schedules these days. I take a lot of pictures and videos so you can see what the issues are from the comfort of your home or office, or anywhere on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
